Love Dining, by American Express: Hotel Guide
The Love Dining programme (Singapore) is a benefit that comes with one of the following cards: The Platinum Card (also known as the Platinum Charge card), The Platinum Credit Credit card, and the Platinum Reserve card.
(The American Express Centurion card also qualifies. However, that card, as far as I know, can be applied for by-invitation only, has an annual fee of SGD 7490, and is out of reach for most).
I personally own the Platinum Charge card and absolutely love it for all its benefits – read about it right here:
Love Dining Benefits Explained
Card holders can receive up to 50% discount when they (i) Dine at participating Love Dining hotels and restaurants, and (ii) Each diner orders at least one qualifying item from the menu. E.g. if there are two diners, there should order a total of two qualifying items.
The total discount varies depending on the number of diners:

- Children diners for buffets will be charged as priced.
Personally, I have done a few staycations at Conrad Centennial Singapore. This includes celebrating a Wedding Anniversary there (got a complimentary upgrade from a Grand Deluxe King to a Premium Room!) and spending a very lovely Chinese New Year 2019 at the Centennial King Suite.
For all our stays, we have had the breakfast buffet at Oscar’s, and the variety and quality are both lovely.

Personal thoughts: Lovin’ the Love Dining Hotels
What I really REALLY REALLY enjoy with the benefits: when i go out for a meal with my husband AND three-year-old child, we get the 50% discount for two adults. To find out about my personal Love Dining experiences at various places, read here.
Children under certain ages (it varies depending on location – it could be between 3, 4, or 5 years old) are not considered a ‘guest’. This is especially true for hotels with buffets – there is always a fine print that kids under a certain age get to eat for free, a long as there is 1 accompanying parent. This means that if my husband, child, and myself all go for a hotel buffet under the Love Dining Hotels or Restaurants programme, our bill is basically the cost of ONE ADULT – for all three of us to dine. Score!
Note: the above guide is for Hotel Dining. For the Restaurant Dining version of the Love Dining Guide, read more over here.
