This is a review of LaBrezza and its à la carte (or rather: pizza) menu. For this single post – I actually made TWO trips to LaBrezza with my husband and three-year-old child. The combined pizza overload is presented here… so readers, please enjoy.
Noteworthy discounts: with the American Express love dining programme. two adults can dine at 50% off. I particulary recommend the American Express Platinum Charge card for its extensive range of benefits.
For Supper Club members, a 25% discount can be applied to the total bill. If you don’t have access to the AMEX love dining programme, this is the next best alternative.
My love affair with St. Regis
When it comes to dining in hotels, the St. Regis is my favourite hotel in Singapore to get a good meal.
Not just because the hotel itself is beautiful.
The dining establishments here are a culinary delight. I’ve been to the French restaurant – Brasserie Les Saveurs – for their Seafood Dinner Buffet as well as the Epicurean lunch set menu.
Both did not disappoint.
For LaBrezza, the Italian restaurant at St. Regis, my family had once enjoyed the Barbecue Night dinner buffet. It was a memorable event – live grill/BBQ station paired with authentic Italian desserts – what’s not to love?
Plus, the service provided by St. Regis staff is impeccable. Customer-centric, child-friendly, and just overall welcoming – It’s easily the best I have seen in any hotel in Singapore.
This is just one of those places that you come (i) to impress a date, (ii) celebrate special occassions, and (iii) keep coming back again and again, just for the heck of it. If you’re keen on a staycation at St. Regis, read here for my family’s wonderful experience at the House of Astor.
LaBrezza: restaurant and menu
Excitedly, my husband and child took the lift up to Level 2 of St. Regis, where the Italian dining establishment is located. A glass wall separates it from the outdoor swimming pool.
The well-lit interior has a relaxed atmosphere. Long sofa seats (which were really soft by the way), plush cushions, white tablecloths… everything just looks so comfortable upfront.
The Menu had your typical Italian fare – pasta, pizza, and mains containing meat and fish, as well as an exquisite dessert menu.

Complimentary bread and drinks
You know that LaBrezza doesn’t skimp on quality, just by looking at their olive oil and balsamic vinegar alone.
The balsamic vinegar, in particular, originates from Modena. It’s one of two Italian regions (the other being Reggio Emilia) where the finest balsamic vinegars are made!
Went well with the bread – the foccacia was especially fragrant and soft. Our three year old child couldn’t stop dipping it into the black and gold goodness – and we had to ask for extra servings of bread.
Bonus for Supper Club members – you are entitled to two complimentary glasses of champagne during your birthday month. At the time of dining, it was during my husband’s birthday (in April), so we did get complimentary drinks!
Note – if you are unable to take alcohol for whatever reason, let the staff know and they are happy to replace it with a juice or mocktail. At this visit, I wanted to share a drink with our small child, so the Husband had champagne while I got the Apple Pilar (apple juice, ginger ale, mint leaves)
Pizza galore
The pizza here is amazing – good quality toppings, a base with just the right amount of chewy and crunchy. I love that the menu also has unique varieties (e.g. wagyu on pizza, anyone?)
First pizza – the Quattro Stagioni. Mozzarella, mushrooms, artichoke, pork ham, and tomato sauce.
By ‘Quattro’ – the pizza literally has 4 separated flavours of mushrooms, artichoke, pork ham, and tomato sauce! It was almost like 4 different-ish flavours in a single pizza, haha!
Next pizza: Salmone Affumicato, Porri e Uova Di Salmone.
Smoked salmon, salmon roe, smoked mozzarella, braised leek, and white cream.
Check out the generous amount of Ikura (salmon roe)! These burst into a lovely fishy juice with every bite. I’d never thought that fish eggs could ever be a pizza topping – and LaBrezza did it so very well.
Oh – and if anyone wants extra parmesan cheese, let the server know and they’ll grate a huge cheese block over your pizza (or pasta), right in front of you.
Among all the pizza varieties I’ve tried at LaBrezza, this smoked salmon one was my favourite. Easily the most extraordinary combination I’ve ever found in a pizza.
This is one of those moments that – there’s no such thing as too much pizza 🙂
Parma e Rucola: Mozzarella, parma ham, rocket salad, tomato sauce.
Of course, I had to request for extra cheese. Do note that the parma ham here, while super flavourful, is already very salty on its own. My husband in fact insisted that half the pizza NOT take the extra cheese so he could just fully enjoy the parma taste alone, unobstructed.
Wagyu lovers listen up – here’s a unique combination pizza worth trying: Wagyu, Rucola e Balsamico.
Oven-roasted Wagyu Beef striploin, Parmigiano Reggiano shavings, rocket leaves, cherry tomatoes, tomato sauce.
The wagyu was soft and fatty. Yet it didn’t feel oily or overpowering; somehow the rocket leaves and pizza base balances out the beefy richness. With juicy meat prepared medium or medium rare – this was a real treat to have. I enjoyed the Wagyu both as a pizza topping…. or removed from the pizza and eaten by itself, haha!
Could we finish all the pizza each time we dined? Nope, lol. However, we were more than happy to take the leftovers home.
Child-friendly dining
I love that St.Regis is child friendly, and they have a child menu (that doubles up as a colouring activity for kids).
For our child, we ordered the Potato Gnocchi with tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese.
100% kid approved – our child actually preferred this over the pizza.
Sweet endings
For my husband’s birthday, we had to have some kind of dessert. Here’s the Torta Sbrisolona, Pere Allo Zafferano. Mantuan traditional almond dry tart, saffron poached pear, topped with vanilla ice cream.
I love it when dessert isn’t too sweet – and my this was the perfect combination of fruit, crunch, and sweet ice. Kind of like a crumble but without the excess butter. Highly recommended.
Overall, i can say that this is the best pizza i’ve had in a hotel. It’s super worth it considering the discounts from the AMEX love dining programme, and is MUCH better than the one I’ve had at Prego (at Fairmont Singapore).
However, if one doesn’t have access to the amex love dining programme discounts, another good pizza place to consider (with a much lower price point) would be La Nonna (in Holland Village).
