The best credit card buffet promotions: 1-for-1 and 50% off hotel buffets

When credit cards give you access to hotel buffet promotions, everyone is suddenly happier.

Yeap, having a credit card does occasionally lets us have access to great dining deals. While I have written about ongoing privileges from the AMEX love dining programme and 1-for-1 deals via the Entertainer App, sometimes shorter-term credit card specials are much harder to notice and keep track or remember.

Are you familiar with all the ongoing dining promotions of your credit cards? Fret not. For buffet lovers – listed here are the best 1-for-1 hotel buffets, or 50% off buffet offers, by Happy High Life. 

Yes, credit cards also have deals ranging from 10% to 30% off hotel buffetes – but this post will primarily focus on only the best ones at 50% off.

HSBC

Mandarin Oriental Hotel: Melt Cafe

• Buffet lunch for 2 persons at $61++ (this is literally a half price rate)
• Valid for up to 4 adults per reservation.
• Valid only for Saturday lunch buffets in the month of February 2020

Holiday Inn Singapore: Window on the Park

• 1-for-1 daily lunch or dinner buffet
• Valid unti l28 February 2020.
• Not valid on eve of Public Holidays, Public Holidays, blackout dates and special occasions determined by the hotel.

Citibank 

Carlton City Hotel: Plate

• 1-for-1 weekday buffet lunch (valid till: 30 December 2020)
• 1-for-1 sunday brunch (valid till: 29 March 2020)
• Promotions are not valid on the eve of public holidays, public holidays, and festive periods (e.g. Father’s Day, Mother’s Day) as deemed by the hotel.

Hilton Hotel: Hilton Saturday and Sunday Buffet,

• Hilton D9 Saturday High Tea Buffet: 50% off every second diner
• Hilton Sunday Brunch: 50% off for every 2nd diner

Participating hotels include: St Regis, Marriot Tang Plaza Hotel, Fairmont, Swissotel the Stamford, Swissotel Merchant Court, and The Capitol Kempinski Hotel.

With this programme, i have dined at 50% off at places such as Brasserie Les Saveurs (St. Regis hotel) and Clove (Swissotel the Stamford), and I honestly cannot recommend this programme enough for anyone who is willing to take up a participating American express credit card.
