Chanel Deauville Tote
It’s been a while since I did a bag post! Honestly I’ve missed gushing about bags on this blogs – check out my bag collection! – , so here we are again.
Introducing my favourite tote bag, the Chanel Deauville Tote.
The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands is my favourite mall in Singapore. Spacious with baby-friendly changing rooms, I do love bringing the child out here every now and then. When we do go, the Deauville’s my first choice of bag for such outings.
Those who know me know that I LOVE my Chanel. Previously, I’ve written about the classic wallet on chain (WOC) and a seasonal Chevron Flap – both of which are black and more of a going-out-to-dinner, formal kind of bag.
The Chanel Deauville tote on the other hand, is very casual. It comes in two sizes, and I personally own the smaller one. It’s a medium-sized tote in reality (Measures 13.4″ x 10″ x 5.9″ or 34cm x 25cm x 15cm), but is often referred to as either small or medium within the Deauville range.
This particular design – the Striped Deauville – is from the Chanel Métiers d’Art (pre-fall) 2018 Collection.
The Perfect Stroller / Baby Bag
Some may protest about using luxury bags to hold Baby Stuff, and hey, to each his own. Myself – I’ve got an awesome tote bag here, and I wanna use it as often as possible.
It’s large/roomy, holds all I need for my small child (spare clothes, diapers, milk, and snacks), and fits beautifully on a stroller.

(Bonus: My child’s stroller is blue; I kind of like that both the bag and stroller actually match each other, LOL)
Shopping at Marina Bay Sands
You know the moment when you love a bag so much, you just gotta take a picture of it in every kind of setting?
Just because.
No trip to Marina Bay Sands is complete without a visit to the Chanel Store
In all seriousness – the bag is vey easy to use. If i do need to park the stroller somewhere and take the bag with me – it transitions easily between the shoulders and baby stroller.
Rests nicely on most flat surfaces too.
I mean, doesn’t the bag look like it’s shopping?
