Note: At the time of visitation (late 2023), I received dining benefits from the Entertainer App by HSBC.
Unfortunately, at the time of finally writing this piece (early 2024), Entertainer App benefits for Maison Kayser have been discontinued in the app.
This Maison Kayser review is therefore, based on my experience at the time of visitation, but benefits may not be applicable, moving forward.
Maison Kayser Review
I’ve written about Maison Kayser before – the last post was written in December 2022, for the outlet at Scotts square.
However, around mid to late 2023, I started visiting the outlet at TripleOne Somerset instead.
Maison Kayser @ TripleOne Somerset
The seating area at TripleOne somerset is much larger compared to the Scotts Square outlet.
Scotts Square outlet: I can count the number of seating tables on one hand
As such, Scotts Square’s outlet became more of a grab-and-go place, while I could almost always find a seat at TripleOne Somerset.
At the time or visitation, Maison Kayser participated in the Entertainer App by HSBC (no longer from 2024, but anyway, the Entertainer App is worth checking out).
Personally, when the benefits were still applicable back then, I could redeem a 1-for-1 sandwich, bread loaf, or qualifying pastry item – and the item of lower cost would be complimentary.
Impressive range of pastries
Maison Kayser is known for having fresh, good quality pastries that are truly enjoyable.
Pastries
Their sourdough loaves are well-loved by many.
Can never say ‘no’ to freshly baked bread
The cakes and tarts aren’t just instagrammable – they taste just as good as they look.
Eclairs, Tarts, Cakes
For the health conscious, there are salads as well.

So, in late 2023, I used the 1-for-1 Entertainer App benefit to enjoy the following items.
(Scroll all the way down to near the bottom of this post for prices. For now, let’s just enjoy the pictures).
1-for-1 Eclairs: Paris Brest (left) and Raspberry (right)
For this Maison Kayser review, I have to admit that this place has some of the best eclairs I’ve come across within Singapore (in my humble opinion at least).
My recommendation would be the Paris Brest: this eclaire is made in the style of a French dessert base of choux pastry and a praline flavoured cream, covered with flaked almonds. Beautifully nutty and creamy.
Paris Brest
Beverages: taste wise, these were ordinary – but the servings were large. The glasses our drinks came in were quite huge – makes you feel like you got your money’s worth when there’s more to drink.
1-for-1 Beverage: Iced Chocolate (left) and Matcha (right)
My favourite items from Maison Kayser – are hands down, the sourdough bread. Usually, after visiting, at least one or two loaves would come home with me.
1-for-1 takeaway bread loaves
These taste so good just like that. They are amazing to make into sandwiches, or simply sliced and toasted with butter. The kids too, will have some when I buy sourdough back – those loaves never last very long at home.

And then, there are tarts. Rich and fruity – one can really taste the fruit flavours. Apologies for the lack of good pictures for these 1-for-1 tarts – the kids were so fast to grab them and in that moment, it just seemed unkind to pull away and slowly take good pictures.

Overall Thoughts
I do love going to Maison Kayser at TripleOne Somerset – for the space availability, lovely’s beverages, and great location right downtown.
Of course, it was awesome when the Entertainer App listed Maison Kayser as a participating dining outlet. While it is no longer there since early 2024, it was great while it lasted.
I still love the place, and will definitely return, even if no discounts are given. Thumbs up to the store for maintaining such high bread and pastry standards for all to enjoy.
Entertainer App Discounts
For this Maison Kayser review, thanks to the Entertainer App, I received one-for-one discounts for dining in in late 2023 (no longer applicable from 2024 onwards). In all cases, the item of lower value would be complimentary when the Entertainer App deal was utilized.
The breakdown of our expenses are as follows:
Maison Kayser review
- 1 for 1 Eclaire – S$7.50 for Raspberry and Paris Brest eclaire.
- 1 for 1 Drinks: S$6.00 for Iced Matcha and Iced Chocolate
- 1 for 1 Bread: S$7.90 for Sourdough Whole Wheat x2 (do note that sourdoughs start from S$6.80 and come in a range of prices.
- 1 for 1 Tart: S$7.20 for Passionfruit Tart and Raspberry Pistachio Tart.
TOTAL: S$28.60
Note: these were prices in late 2023 when GST was 8%. As of 1st January 2024, GST in Singapore has been hiked up to 9%. Prices are thus subject to changes and readers should confirm with the aforementioned store for the most recent prices.
