Hermes Kelly 28
The Hermes Gold colour matches anything in my wardrobe, and goes with any twilly. It’s a great size for carrying the essentials and more, and the additional bag strap definitely comes in handy.
For those who have requested for OOTDs – Outfit Of The Day shots (you know who you are), there you go.
Handheld
Ignore the pink sneakers. I swear I had meant to wear black shoes, but somehow ended up slipping into the most comfortable pair of ASICS sport shoes on my way out. Ah well.
Hung on the shoulder
Afternoon tea at Rose Veranda
Not too long ago, I brought the bag for Afternoon Tea at Shangri-La’s Rose Veranda.
Afternoon Tea
Throughout the afternoon, the Kelly 28 sat right next to me on the couch.
Hey there
My friend, who joined in for tea that day, commented how the colour was so neutral, so under-the-radar, that the Kelly 28 practically blends into the seat / background, without looking conspicuous. You’d practically need to KNOW what a Hermes Kelly is before you’d notice the bag.
Shangri-La Singapore
When Afternoon Tea was done and dusted, we leisurely strolled around the hotel.
Staircase
Shangri-La Singapore is beautiful – the lobby has high ceilings and we considiered this one of the most elegant hotels in Singapore.
View from the Second Floor
I’ve done a family staycation at this hotel before (booked using American Express FHR rates), and it definitely did not disappoint. Since then, I’ve definitely looked upon Shangri-La favourably, and the brand consistently delivers excellent service and experience.
Overlooking the Lobby Lounge in the background
It’s in the presentation too. The hallways to the ballrooms were spectacular.
Corridor
Beautifully carpted walkways, floor-to-ceiling mirrors, and hanging chandeliers lined the corridor. What’s there not to love?

And then, there are the bathrooms.
This bathroom actually has a somewhat sweet and floral fragrace. Either they sprayed something in the air, or the lady before me had too much perfume.
There is a school of thought that says, one can tell how luxurious a hotel is just by looking at the bathrooms. You definitely can with Shangri-La Singapore.
I love empty bathrooms
All in all, it was a wonderfully relaxing day. Hopefully we’ll be back again soon.
Thanks everyone for reading!
