Very grateful that my family and I had the opportunity to drop by during this time.

At Atmos Dining, a staff checked our reservation details and led us in – word of advice: the strawberry event is VERY popular, so reservations are a must.

Strawberry Desserts galore
Immediately, our senses were assaulted by how PINK everything was.
Methinks these pictures can speak for themselves:
Pink Strawberry Macarons (leftmost), and Strawberry Pudding (bottomost)…
Strawberry-coated pistachios (in the little glass jar), Strawberries dipped in melted chocolate on a stick, Strawberry Cream Cupcakes, and fresh Japanese Strawberries
Strawberry fruit tart, assortment of cookies
I was not preprared for my blood sugar level to hit the roof, but here we are.
Even more cookies
Those familiar with the Conrad brand will be happy to see the typical Conrad Bear, all decked out prettily in pink.
Hello Bear
Strawberry Pavlova… and something like a granola bar, strawberry danishes (back left), and strawberries with marshmallows on sticks (back right)
One nice thing about this place: for the first 10 minutes of the buffet, eating is not allowed – it is purely for people to take pictures / videos, so the whole display is practically left in pristine condition for all your instagrammable shots.
The hardest part is trying to avoid all the people in the background.
Cropped out human faces
I loved the layout – it was 2 long tables of dessert display, and easy to walk around.
Long table. Many items. I like.
Strawberry Meringue (left) and Strawberry Mousse cake (right)
Strawberry Panna Cotta
Chocolate, Matcha, Strawberry, and Plain cream puff shells. Fill it / Mix and Match with a variety of fillings (also in chocolate, matcha, strawberry and plain)
There is wisdom in trying to eat a bit of everything.
Made by me: sampling plate
And there is also wisdom in simply eating what one feels like.
Kid’s choice: cookies and strawberries
Non-dessert options
Thankfully, there were also a few warm dishes and salads, for variety’s sake.
Hot food and Salads
There were lovely creamed fish and chicken dishes and pasta – sort of a Japanized-western mix.
All were very comforting
Salad
Salad Dressing
It’s also probably a good idea to have a BIT of mains before dessert, or to alternate, just to give one’s tummy a break from sweets (the irony).
Creamy Chicken, Creamy Salmon, Seafood Pasta
And behold, a highly beloved local dish:
Salad was actually pretty good
Overall, a wonderful experience it was – I had never eaten so many strawberries (or dessert) in one sitting. For strawberry lovers, I highly recommend catching the event if you’re in Japan at the right time.
