With effect from January 2023, Regent hotel’s Basilico exits the Amex Love Dining programme. I’m personally saddened by the news as Basilico has been one of my favourite Italian restaurants in Singapore. Nevertheless, grateful for the memories and the chances to dine in such a wonderful place.

Amex Platinum Reserve card: from 1 Nov 2022, new card applicants who also possess the Platinum Charge Card must pay the annual fee for the Platinum Reserve card. This only applies to NEW applicants. Thankfully, for existing card holders, the old policy remains: holders of the Platinum Charge card may still get the annual fee waived for the Platinum Reserve Card.
