Wildseed Cafe at the Summerhouse: a review
Had a lovely brunch at Wildseed Cafe at the Summerhouse. We had amazing pizza, nice crispy curly fries with truffle sauce, and the loveliest carrot cake. Plus, the S$200 Amex local dining credit covered the entire bill.
Mikuni Voucher of S$50 from American Express
The S$50 voucher for Mikuni is an almost no strings attached freebie; I highly recommend American Express Platinum Charge card holders to enjoy it whenever possible.

Amex Tower Club voucher: S$100 reduced to S$50
Bad news for American Express Platinum Charge Card holders: Tower Club voucher is downgraded from S$100 to S$50. Slight disappointment, but I still love Amex.
Amex New Love Dining partners: L’Angélus Group, Quenino by Victor Liong, Capitol Kempinski Hotel
From July 2024, new love dining partners are added to the list – For a start, we see L’Angélus and Quenino by Victor Liong. In addition, the Capitol Kempinski Singapore joins and it comes with three participating restaurants: 15 Stamford Restaurant, Lobby Lounge, The Bar at 15 Stamford.
Brasserie Les Saveurs is renamed to The Astor Grill
Surprise! One of my favourite restaurants, Brasserie Les Saveurs at St. Regis Singapore, has been renamed to The Astor Grill. The menu is revamped as well to include more grilled steak / meats, but thankfully, Sunday Champagne brunch remains. Love Dining benefits still apply.
Constance 18 @ FIRE at 1-Atico
Took the Hermes Constance 18 in Rose Confetti to FIRE at 1-Atico. Cute, chic, and carrying just the day’s essentials, she is the perfect companion for a minimalist day.

The Rose Veranda is one of the most popular spots for high tea in Singapore. The three-tiered set includes cute little sandwiches inspired by local flavours, elegant pastries in an assortment of flavours, and freshly baked scones that come with clotted cream, lemon curd and marmalade. 10/10 a total winner.
Prego: Fairmont’s Italian dining establishment
Prego: I am guilty of visiting this place far too many times. All in all, this tried-and-tested Italian restaurant at Fairmont Singapore is a perennial favourite – the wholesome Italian pizzas, lovely mains, and sweet desserts always have us coming back for more. Maison Kayser review: artisanal bakery at TripleOne Somerset
Maison Kayser is an artisanal bakery that carries amazing sourdough, pastries and cakes. The 111 Somerset branch has a large seating area as well. (This place used to offer Entertainer App discounts but they have been discontinued at the time of writing).
Amex Platinum Reserve: no more S$100 Tower Club voucher; reduced Fraser property stay benefit
As of 1st January 2024, the benefits of the Amex Platinum Reserve card are significantly lessened. The usual 3D2N stay at a participating Fraser’s property will be reduced to 2D1N, and the S$100 Tower Club voucher will be no more.
