2025 Amex Platinum Statement Credits: S$1204 or S$1354
The S$1,204 statement credits for the American Express Platinum Charge Card was a benefit that card holders enjoyed in 2023 and 2024.
In 2025, in terms of monetary value ALONE (emphasized ALONE: see more for details later), 2025 Amex Platinum statement credits benefits are identical.
To recap, the benefits were as follows:
- S$400 dining credits: to be comprised of S$200 local and S$200 for overseas participating dining establishments.
- S$400 lifestyle credits: for Spa treatments and Alcohol.
- S$204 entertainment credits (yes, its really S$204; its not a typo), for monthly news or music streaming services.
- S$200 airline credits: applicable for flight purchases with Singapore Airlines and Scoot.
The above benefits added to a total value of S$1204.
However, not to be forgotten is the net-a-porter online spend credit as well
- S$150 shopping credits for net-a-porter, split into S$75 bi-annually (Translated: card holders can enjoy S$75 worth of credits between January to June, and another S$75 worth of credits from July to December)
If one includes the net-a-porter benefit as well, the total value then adds up to S$1354.
As mentioned, in 2025, the perks are the same – except that the benefits will be split into a bi-annual rather than an annual basis.
How to use the 2025 Amex Platinum Statement Credits
Step 1: Save the benefit to Card either online or via the Amex app.
Step 2: Be aware of timelines. Similar to the net-a-porter benefit – whereby card holders are entitled to half the benefit between January to June, and the other half between July to December, most other benefits will be divided as follows:

My personal thoughts
In theory, if one looks purely at monetary value, the amount is techncially the same. However, in reality, it may be better or worse for some, depending on one’s usage.
The biggest hate, in my small circle of friends at least, come from the overseas dining benefit – previously, that benefit can be utilized with just ONE trip abroad. However, now users need to make a minimum of TWO trips abroad AND to have one in the first half of the year, and the other in the second half. Logistically, to claim the benefit, this definitely puts more work on the side of the card holder (a possible solution: Travel between end June to early July, and try to make two transactions during that time).
However, not everything is bad – for example, with the spa treatments, the requirement previously was to spend S$600 in a single receipt before the S$200 could apply. Now, with a smaller spend requirement of S$300, it may be easier for card holders to actually use this benefit for spa treatments.
Ultimately, to each his own. The question is – will you still enjoy the card / use it anyway, in spite of the changes? That is only something that the card holder can tell.
